Patna, Inc. (“Patna”) operates a technology marketplace that connects independent brands with independent partners so they can transact on paid outcomes. Patna is a software platform only. Patna is not a party to the underlying commercial agreement between any brand and any partner, and does not represent, employ, guarantee, endorse, insure, license, or supervise either side.
Patna is not a bank, money transmitter, money services business, escrow agent, trustee, fiduciary, credit provider, lender, broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, custodian, payment processor of record, tax adviser, accounting firm, law firm, employment agency, staffing firm, professional employer organization (PEO), insurance provider, sales agency, advertising network, advertising agency, marketing agency, market-research firm, background-check provider, credit bureau, telecommunications carrier, or common carrier. Patna does not itself sell, market, promote, endorse, warrant, or guarantee any product, service, offer, security, or investment listed on the platform. All commercial statements, product claims, prices, payout terms, availability, quality, delivery, and legality are the sole responsibility of the brand or partner that publishes them.
Payouts routed through the platform are processed by third-party licensed payment providers on the applicable party’s behalf; Patna acts solely as a technical facilitator and record-keeper. Any funds temporarily held pending clearance, refunds, or dispute resolution are not held in escrow, are not insured deposits, and are not client money in the regulated sense. Users are responsible for their own taxes, withholding, licensing, employment classification, immigration status, export controls, sanctions compliance, consumer-protection compliance (including FTC endorsement rules, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, UK GDPR, CASL, and equivalent laws), data-protection compliance, and all filings required by their local jurisdiction.
